I like how the eye is dragged into the bridge which seems to extend endlessly.

I like the off-center placement of the receding lines. Nice HDR work on the iron and the brooding sky.

Oh my gosh! A fantastic image. Love, love, love those lines leading into….where? Excellent.

  14. WendyWendy01-06-2013

Interesting play with lines and structure. I see you went west rather than east. I am concerned that the hurricane damage will be upsetting to see for a long while yet.

  15. CariCari01-06-2013

I’m totally in love with all of the blues in this image. The colors on the bridge are the exact colors my husband loves. The clouds in the sky are very intriguing as they hide behind the steel bridge.

  16. ArashArash01-06-2013

I love connection details and rusty details of structure, well done.

  26. RachelRachel01-17-2013

Love this photo for many reasons, but it also hits home that many men worked very hard to engineer and construct this bridge. You keep me humble with the artist’s vision and the practical need for crossing a body of water.

Firstly an eye catcher… liking how you’ve framed it as it derive a lovely touch of “the past passage” and more so this time of the year… always sneaks up on me as in… the time when we take a look back (at the best, the worst, the weirdest, and most surprising good things of the past year). A visual treat!
