I’m always starting off my comments here with “wow.” Wow! This is such a sensory overload. It’s fantastic. The scale is awesome, the colors are your typical vibrant (almost martian) gorgeous, and the components/subject matter is just a feast for the eye. Technically superb and visually stunning.

The whole majesty of the image comes to life when you go full screen. Simply stunning. I drove through Ashley over ten years ago taking the long not in any hurry way back home to Toronto from a job I was doing in Virginia. I need to stop and explore more often.

Hi John,
Amazing photo – but you always make me nervous when you go out to these abandoned sites by yourself.
I hope the hurricane spared you any problems. You have been on my mind the past couple of days – hope you are OK,

Wow what a cool structure! You captured it well!!
Wonderfully gritty relic so expertly presented, of course – I remember your previous coverage of this place.
This panorama shot is perfect for capturing the lovely structure of the building, with those marvelous shapes.
Gorgeous panoramic HDR of this decayed space.
Fantastic photo and fantastic HDR is an incredible amount of detail. Have a nice day John.
This is a cold and frightening photo that by adding the color you would think it would brighten it up, but I’m afraid to say that it isn’t at all. Great shot though.

Wow – panorama and HDR. Nice work. The sweeping curves of the ceiling give the place a cathedral feeling.
Stunning image of urban decay! Well chosen POV and masterful post-processing!
Excellent composition and processing. Whilst it’s no secret that I’m not a big fan HDR, I am beginning to change my views based upon your artwork. I will have to experiment a little – thanks for renewed inspiration.
