		The Market Street Bridge crosses over the Susquehanna River in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The bridge was built in 1929. At approximately 1,400 feet, it is one of the longest and most highly ornamented concrete bridges in Pennsylvania. This bridge consists of 12 arches of reinforced concrete and granite.

		My granddaughter loves to pick flowers as I&#039;m sure every little girl does. She ran ahead of me in this field and I was able to catch her with the sunlight glowing her hair.

	<title>Coal - Black Gold</title>
	<link>http://www.sirius2photo.com/photo/index.php?showimage=316</link>
	<description>
		&lt;img src=&quot;http://www.sirius2photo.com/photo/thumbnails/thumb_20100603151906__dsc2571-dsc2585f.jpg&quot;&gt;&lt;br/&gt;
		At one time these Coal Breakers were everywhere in Pennsylvania, along with the resulting culm banks. Thankfully, most of the culm banks have been re-utilized along with the land. Anthracite coal was like gold here in PA, except for the health and safety hazards and waste byproducts that resulted from mining it. Anyway, it&#039;s an era that has come and gone here. No one got rich from it, especially the poor coal miners. My grandfather from my mothers side was a coal miner and eventually he suffered from black lung. Hard workers and hard drinkers were the trademark of the coal miners, along with a hard life. No gold for these tough men.

		Have to thank Leslie Wargo at http://www.lwimagery.com/ for posting a fantastic image of this breaker a few months ago that inspired me to get out there and take some photos of this fascinating historic place. Especially, since it&#039;s right in my back yard, only about 20 minutes from where I live. Well I finally got there this past weekend.

		First time this year I&#039;ve been to Ricketts Glen State park. Spring is one of my favorite seasons for capturing the greens and the waterfalls. Weather is perfect for hiking, just the right temperature. Took this shot last weekend.
