So many wonderful elements to this one, John. The scene is fascinating, but with the lights and snow...there's a softness that seems like the snow is whipping through the air. sherri @ 2010-03-03 09:48:33

you don t hesitate to go out for pictures! that is passion, our passion!but for me without cold... so hard to live alone in such countries! and happy birthday to Jenna, better to have a very big polar bear against these winters! misty or blue ice effects, brrrrrrrrrrrrr, irreality is there! vera @ 2010-03-04 12:25:16

Hi John
Wow that is something! Your photo is magnetic as always in how it portrays your scenes or subjects.
But the amount of snow is something else in itself. We barely has any this winter, with really nice mild temperatures here in Ontario.
P.S. Thank you for the beautiful comment on my site! I had to go "up north" to get that photo, as the northern Ontario parts got more snow naturally than the southern parts.
oh wow. that texture is fantastic. this is nice. joe @ 2010-03-04 22:17:02
oh that's SO snowy! i love the silvery light in this - such a fabulous atmosphere. but all that snow must have been a shock to everyone's system. michele @ 2010-03-04 23:09:09
Wow, this is amazing, John! The texture on the street is very intriguing; I'm going to guess it was created by snowplows. The blues and yellows really look great with the whites and greys. Mark Johnson @ 2010-03-05 00:05:28

John well done again. Us here this year we had only one snow fall in the week and then warmed up, and been getting better since then. Hope you didn't get snowed much. Anna :) Anna @ 2010-03-16 13:18:47
Love the mood here and how the dark sky is a nice change from and contrast with your usual so perfectly lit they look painted skies. I also like how there seems to be some motion from the snow blowing - like a menacing fog is rolling in. SD (Aspherical) @ 2010-03-22 20:04:25
Amazing textures and atmosphere in this one, John!
Oh, this is just amazing. Everything seems so quiet on this cold misty snow covered night. I really like the detail of the tire tracks left in the snow. What a mood! bluechameleon @ 2010-04-01 07:55:11
