Every year our country road is a blanket of colorful autumn leaves. When I took this shot, there was a slight mix of rain and snow falling that created the misty effect here.

This is interesting but I'm not quite sure that HDR suits this sort of scene. The blur in the trees makes it look a little like the lens steamed up when it was shot. Great colours though. mooch @ 2009-10-25 11:14:11

Lovely colors and I like the composition with the leading road and the band of green plants between the orange leaves above and those on the road. I don't really like what the processing did to the near mailbox, giving it an almost neon glow that is out of place in the rural setting. The misty blur I am okay with as an artistic decision. Amigo mio, con la llegada del otoño las hojas de los arboles van cogiendo ese color tan caracteristico, con esas tonalidades en rojo tan espectaculares. John el tratamiento que ha aplicado es soberbio, hace que resalten mas los colores.

I love the dreamy effect here. Is this shot mixed with hdr processing? I also wanted to thank you for the comment on my blog (Boston photo). I did some hdr processing to the image and then merged it with the original photo. I'm always impressed with the results you get with your processing. I've yet to be able to get those type of results. I think it has to do with the actual capturing of the images in the beginning. Your shots are always sharp and framed so nicely. The rich color is what first captured my attention, especially in the blanket of leaves on the road. The misty mood then captivated me. My mind raced and I thought, "I want to live on that road."
