The growth looks very lush this time of year. I like that one little bit of water by itself on the right coming from higher up. Really nice.

Buenos dias amigo John, aqui tenemos otra gran demostracion de lo que se llama un efecto seda soberbio.
Parecen hilos que caen entre las rocas de este maravillosos lugar, buen trabajo.
Saludos y un fuerte abrazo.

This looks so surreal. Amazing, what four seconds can do to a waterfall... Lovely scene.
@ 2009-07-09 00:09:49
I can understand your love for this place. It's truly magical.

Awesome. I like that there's so much energy with just three colors really. The texture on the leaves is amazing.

the milky look of the waterfall is really beautiful.. nice work! :D
@ 2009-07-09 07:23:52
The lines of falling water are exquisite. Looks more like silk threads draped over rocks than water. Stunning!!!
@ 2009-07-09 07:42:04
A great shot.

@ 2009-07-09 09:59:55
You should consider creating a calendar with the stunning images of waterfalls you have created this year.
@ 2009-07-09 11:51:24
Wow, love this. So cool!
@ 2009-07-09 13:07:31

Wonderful capture! I would like to have a bath there now.
@ 2009-07-09 16:43:43
Tu n'as pu résister ?
@ 2009-07-09 16:53:18
beautiful long exposure on the waterfalls here. nicely executed!
@ 2009-07-09 17:26:17
Toujours aussi majestueux !
@ 2009-07-09 19:37:30
Excellent capture! I'm addicted to that sort of shot too. Sometimes I think they really ought to name a psychiatric condition after it...
@ 2009-07-09 19:59:01
this is really gorgeous, John.
@ 2009-07-09 20:01:12

Such a beautiful place... really like your waterfall pics.. something peaceful and clean to look at. Nice
@ 2009-07-09 23:28:54
This is a stunning phtograph! The soothing quality of the slow shutter capturing the waterfalls give such a dream-like quality. I really like the part of the falls on the right that seems isolated from the rest of what is coming down. This must be what paradise looks like :)
@ 2009-07-09 23:46:01
Perfect exposure! Stunning!
@ 2009-07-10 01:52:01

Really beautiful shot John. You've certainly mastered these waterfall shots! I like the tiny, single strand of water to the right of the main chute.

Fascinating image, love the surreal effect you created in this magnificent composition. Great job!
@ 2009-07-10 07:36:22
Well, astonishing picture! So far I've never seen a waterfall in reality, but in my opinion the water looks too much artificially.
@ 2009-07-10 08:23:51
A spectacular waterfall interpreted with your amazing skill in moving water exposures. I admire how you've mastered this and continue to use to bring us the exquisite images.
@ 2009-07-10 08:47:25

Excellent! No special tricks other than shutter speed it seems. Perfectly done. The thing that makes these shots so good is that you can really tell by the shot that you enjoy being there. Beautifully done John.

Very nice shot of the falls John. You can feel the cool flow of the water. Nice shot.

OMG!!! Another wonderful shot!
@ 2009-07-12 08:49:13
Wondering if this water freezes in the winter or is it accessible in winter? I love frozen waterfalls.
@ 2009-07-12 10:18:34

@ 2009-07-13 06:25:22
I understand that this is a beautiful place to spend time. It is unfortunate that the photo does not tale the noise and nature odors. I wish you that this area remains unchanged for years...
@ 2009-07-13 07:52:09
Great view ! The whites are very clean.
@ 2009-07-13 11:23:29
I think that is a new favourite of your waterfall shots. Wonderful colour and I love the rock formations.
@ 2009-07-13 12:11:21
Love the richness of the green foliage and the detail of the rock and the softness of the water and...OK guess I should just say perfectly captured! Love it :)

Your waterfall shots are always one of my favorite photos of all! This is breathtaking as always John.
@ 2009-07-13 17:49:11
When I first saw this, I thought about a wedding in the park I saw on Saturday. The water reminded me of the bride's veil. Love this shot.

As usual: very beautiful! I love the almost black water (typically your style). The green is also very fresh. Excellent composition. You could sell this one for sure, eg to make a poster.

Excellent shot. I love the dreamy, ethereal feel of the water.

@ 2009-07-31 03:42:17
I think the framing is perfect. Good even exposure and perfect water (which is the bit i find difficult to get right with waterfalls).
@ 2009-08-05 10:47:58
une netteté parfaite, un filé merveilleusement bien maitrisé, en un mot j'adore;
@ 2009-08-06 09:13:40
Very good composition and post processing.
@ 2009-08-21 14:10:31
A friend and I are thinking about going to Ricketts (finally!) to do some photography, hiking and geocaching. The website shows the Falls trail as extremly difficult... how tough of a hike is it?
This is another amazing shot!
